What a fantastic LED light show.
WOW! The LED lighting on the dancers where  fantastic. Almost 400 of the backup dancers wore LED-equipped costumes and
LED RGB strip light.

Thousandsof  LED strips where stitched in to the dancers costumes using Velcro, three colors where used red,green and white, and  powered by a 12 volt battery pack which can supply 40watts of power with belt controllers in which the dancers switched through the colour themselves. A great article from Engineering Solutions Inc, explains how the costumes were made in more detail and has some good technical information.

Although we Fibre optic fx ltd where not involved in the show it is always  great to keep up to date with whats going on out there.

It is amazing what can be done with led lighting, the possibilities are endless. From the Black Eyed Peas at the Super Bowl to maybe this years Crufts, could you imagine dogs in flashing led collars and colour changing coats parading around the stage maybe putting a bit of bling in to the show, which kicks off on the 10th March.

Im sure we can go on all night but i will be back with more interesting stories in the LED and Fibre optic lighting world.
